Bring Salam Farm to your community
For schools, masjids, and community organisations in Reading and beyond.
We work with young women to bring back something that quietly gets taken away — by comparison, by social media, by just growing up.
Call it confidence. Call it self-awareness. We call it that twinkle.
We're not here to fix anything. We just open a few doors — the ones already inside them that nobody told them were there.
Through workshops and ongoing mentoring programmes, we give young women the tools to understand themselves — so they can make better decisions, be kinder to themselves, and move through the world with a little more clarity.
What we offer
A single session covering self-awareness, emotions, or confidence — designed for groups of young women aged 13–25. Practical, honest, and built to actually land with the girls in the room. Suitable for assemblies, PSHE sessions, and community events.
An adapted version of The Six — our 4-week group mentoring programme — delivered within your setting. Small groups, structured sessions, real outcomes. Suitable for secondary schools, sixth forms, masjids, and youth groups.
For organisations who want to refer individual young women to The Sit Down. We'll have a conversation about how that works for your setting.
Who we work with
- Secondary schools and sixth forms
- Masjids and Islamic centres
- Youth groups and community organisations
- Any setting working with young women aged 13–25
Why Salam Farm
Our facilitator is a 21-year-old British Muslim woman — trained in somatic practice and trauma-informed coaching, with lived experience that mirrors the young women she works with. Relatable by design. Credible by training.
The content is inclusive — designed to resonate across backgrounds, cultures and beliefs, without excluding anyone.
Interested in working with us? Get in touch and we'll have a conversation about what would work best for your young people. No hard sell — just a discussion.
